HS Carpenters & Builders area a local general building company based in Corby, Northamptonshire.

With over 25 years experience in the construction industry, there’s not a lot we don’t know about carpentry and building and we like nothing better than putting our experience into practice and seeing your project coming to fruition, no matter how big or small your project is.

I think it’s always nice to put a face behind a company so you know who you’re dealing with, so I’ve uploaded this little picture of me Hans Storrie – the guy you’ll be dealing with, should you decide to use us.

If you’re wondering why I’m called Hans, well… my father was Scottish; born in Kilmarnock and my mother was born in Berlin (she named me after my uncle!)

I was born on the lovely Island of Cyprus in 1962 and brought up in Tranent, East Lothian, just on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Most of my friends tend to call me: The Big German, Cypriot Jock! But don’t worry, I don’t get offended too easy!

Ok, so that’s probably enough about me for now, so let me take this opportunity to ‘welcome you to my website’ and if you’re looking to having some work carried out to your property, domestic or commercial, I’d love the opportunity to provide you with a written, easy-to-understand FREE quotation, for anything you have in mind.

Now, most people hate trying to describe their project over the telephone, and I totally understand. Confused; don’t know what to ask or don’t want to sound like a child making their first phone call! So, that’s why I’ve made it as easy as possible for me to get an idea of your project, even before we meet.

I’ll receive this almost immediately and get to work providing you with an estimate (I say ‘estimate’ because until I see your project, i’m unable to give you a full a final quotation). I’ll then email you back with the estimated cost and if you’re happy in principle, I’ll pop over to your property at a convenient time that suits you; measure up, then give you a final written quotation the same day via email.
